EIAT math practice questions
Math is the smallest of the exam's three sections, 30 of 100 questions per NEIEP's applicant guide, but it's the one where an untested habit costs the most: a wrong operation on a whole-number problem is a wrong answer no matter how quickly you got there. The questions aren't abstract arithmetic. They're shop math: fractions and decimals as a mechanic actually uses them, whole-number and percentage word problems, material and area questions with a real unit at the end.
Nobody publishes an official calculator rule for the EIAT either way. Every prep vendor we checked assumes none is allowed, so the honest way to practise is by hand, the way you'd sit the real thing if those vendors turn out to be right.Read what we found on that.
Pick an answer below and the explanation appears immediately, worked step by step, correct or not, rather than held back until a set is finished.
